Hoven FCCLA Holds
Annual Halloween Carnival
By: Katie Arbach
On Thursday, October 31, the Hoven
FCCLA Chapter held their annual Halloween Carnival for children in the
community. 35 Kids came all dressed up
in their costumes! All of the little
spooks enjoyed games like put the tale on the cat, cupcake walk, pumpkin bean
bag toss, tattoo booth, and a pumpkin patch game. Also, the kids did some arts and crafts to
remember their fun day.
The cans of food that the kids
brought for admissions will be donated to the Treasure Hut and go to the Food
Bank. The cans of food will also help us
in a project we are doing for Share our Strengths.
Thank you to all of the FCCLA
parents who helped bring treats, games, and helped throughout the day. Also, thank you to Garret Spindler, Macy
Lecklider, Tori Breaw, Kayla Sautner, and Katie McClure for volunteering your
time to help the FCCLA members run this event.
It would not have been a great party without everyone’s help!
