ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Tanner Heuer

            Tanner Heuer is the son of Dave and Linda Heuer.  Tanner has three sisters (Tami, Traci, and Tara) and one brother (Travis).  He is a senior this year and is involved in football, basketball, FCCLA, Student Council, French Club, and National Honor Society.

            His favorite sport is basketball because you have the crowd all around you cheering you on and it is a so exciting and fast paced game.

            When asked who his favorite athlete is, he said “Tom Brady from the Patriots football team, because of his leadership on the team”

            Tanner’s greatest athletic accomplishment was going to state in basketball. 

            His goals include making it to the dome in football, going to state in basketball, and of course graduating high school.  

            Some advice that Tanner gives to those younger people who are hoping to play sports is to work hard and you will do great.
