Mobridge College Planning Days
By: Katie Arbach

As we come to end of our high school years, the Juniors and Seniors are faced with many decisions and one of them is college.  Many students start questioning if they want to go to college or enter the military.  What should I major in?  Would it be best for me to just go straight into the work force?  There are so many different options!
On Wednesday, October 2nd the Juniors and Seniors went to Mobridge for the College Planning Day.  There were many different public and private universities, tech schools, and military representatives there for the students to look at and get an idea of where they would like to go after high school.
The College Planning Days was very beneficial to the students here at Hoven.  “It was very informational and it gave me confidence in my decision of what college I want to go to.” Quoted senior Bailey Zweber, who plans on going to Dakota Wesleyan next fall for Registered Nurse.
Along with the information on different colleges there were also booths on financial aid for the students to look over.  The students now have a better understanding of the colleges in the area and what they all have to offer.
